Comment by Regina light on December 2, 2009 at 10:27pm - Me too Menda I wish the world was safer too. My Daughter who is 14 thinks I'm over protective, But I am what I lived through. I was almost kidnapped at 13 walking down the street but I got away with a black eye. Then at Fourteen I was drugged and raped by how do I explain this? my best guy friend his friends brother. He drugged my soda. nice huh? She understands a little more now. The arguments used to be terrible. I just don't want it to happen to her.

Comment by Menda on November 26, 2009 at 3:49am - Yes, recently a little girl was killed in North Carolina. It made the national headlines. It seems her mother had something to do with it. Normally, I'm a peace loving, forgiving person, I don't believe in the death penalty, but when I heard her mother had something to do with her death, I wished she'd get the death penalty...I felt anger towards her (like any normal person), I felt like such sickness had to be punished...anyway, it is a tragedy, and I don't know if I can continue watching the news...I hate seeing missing children. I wish the world were safer, I wish people were better.
